First meet: Wednesday March 4th at Homestead High School
Donations of gently used shoes & spikes
If you have any running shoes or spikes in good condition that you no longer need, please send them along to practice and we will help find a new owner for them. Spikes are recommended for most athletes.
Volunteer Driver Form
If you would like to become a registered volunteer driver please complete this form and submit it to the MVLA office. During the season, only parents who are approved driver's may drive athletes other than their own child to or home from meets. Buses will be provided to and from LAHS for all weekday league meets but we do depend on parent driver's to help us transport athletes to weekend invitational meets. If you have already been approved as a driver for another sport or school activity, you do not need to do it again. Under no circumstances may athletes drive or bike themselves to a meet.

A $100.00 transportation assessment is required for participants. This pays for buses to and from meets. Please make the check out to LAHS Athletics and turn it into the LAHS bookkeeper. An email will be sent at the start of the season. See Mrs. Noeth with questions or exemptions.
Transportation Rules, Parent Drivers
All athletes are expected to ride the bus unless other arrangements have been made prior to the meet. A coach will take roll before the bus leaves.
Athletes may NOT drive themselves or with any other student.
A parent driver may NOT take home any other runner unless they are an approved driver on file with the MVLA District. The volunteer parent driver form can be found here.
If you need to take your runner home earlier, please sign them out with a coach at the end of their warm down. A coach needs to see the parent at sign-out.
